As a military brat with roots in Hawaii, Texas, and Southern California, I experienced firsthand the excitement and challenges of moving and finding a new place to call home.

When I was 14, my parents bought their first home in Killeen, Texas, where they still live today.

That experience planted a seed in me that would later blossom into my passion for real estate.

In 2010, my husband Andy and I moved to Tacoma to plant a church. 

Homeownership seemed like a distant dream, so we made the decision to buy a duplex and let the tenants help cover our mortgage costs.

Little did we know, that purchase would not only change our financial future but also ignite our love for real estate investing.
